This is a Thursday series in which I pause and acknowledge something big and important or something small and insignificant that has made me thankful. It is so important and incredibly refreshing to look at the positivity around us, when we are so often surrounded by negativity.
This week, today, this season, lately, I have been thankful for the fall. The autumn colors have often been making me gasp with joy, especially when I drive Donnie to work in the morning. It's just the perfect time that the light is shining through the trees, and the reddest leaves look like they are on fire. It is magical.
The following images are photographs that I took using my new tilt-shift lens that Donnie made me for my birthday! They are entirely unedited, just straight from the camera. I'm still learning how to use it best, but I think this lens and I are going to be great friends. Enjoy this little glimpse of my Champaign-Urbana fall.
