Champaign-Urbana Family Session || The Crooplets || The Croop Family Residence in Champaign

I had the honor of photographing an incredible family in Champaign in October -- and I am so excited to finally share the session on the blog! I met the kids' mom, Kari, several years ago when we were in Into the Woods together -- and I absolutely adored her energy as well as her beautiful singing voice. There's no surprise that she is also an incredible mom. Kari and her husband Andrew (who was at work during this session) have their hands full, quite literally, with very busy triplets. It is amazing to watch the way that Kari works with all three of them -- they were each beginning to move around just the tiniest bit (now they're all over the place!) and they kept both of us busy in between shots. The kids absolutely adore Kari already, and one of my favorite moments of the day was when Kari started singing to them, and the Crooplets all stopped moving around and listened to her.

This family is really cool, and I'm so glad I got the chance to work with them. You'll notice that many of the photos feature the Crooplets in their super chic Halloween clothes -- and I think they knew they were modeling something fancy, because once we changed them into the outfits, they started striking poses left and right!

Thanks for this session, dear Crooplets (and Mama Croop)! You guys are the best. xoxo

(I don't think that tiger butt was met with approval by his brother...)

Thank you, Croop family! I'm so glad I know you!

PS The last couple of days have been rough with my 30 Day Shred challenge (I hurt my back a few days ago, but I'm all better now). I'm hopping back on today, and have rallied a few other ladies across the country to join in with me. Here we go!
