Update: 30 Day Shred

I really don't feel like working out today. I had great excuses yesterday (friends! snow! cooking! work!) but... today, I just need to work out. And, I think the universe agrees with me -- Candy Crush Saga won't load on my phone, I have exactly an hour until I have anything time sensitive on my schedule, and I'm out of blog posts to read. This is not to say that my to-do list is not miles long today, but, I can certainly cut out 30 minutes of time to do something good for my body... right? My 6th grade English teacher, who is an incredibly wise woman, used to say, "If you really wanted to do something, but didn't, it's not because you didn't have the time: you didn't make time." Hmm. Wise lady, huh?

A group of ladies that I know (most of whom I connected with while we were wedding planning) has joined me in the 30 Day Shred challenge. We are logging the workouts in Fitocracy and holding each other accountable. There is nothing better than receiving a message that says, "OK Kinzie, when are you doing the Shred today?" and knowing that they actually care.

So, ladies, as soon as the oatmeal settles in my belly, I'm going to work out. Level 2, here I come!
