Last week was nuts. It has also been one of the most beautiful weeks I've ever had. I consistently left our apartment by 6:15 am and often didn't back home until after rehearsal after 10 pm. Going into the week, I was a little worried about how I would handle such an intense schedule, and how on earth I would keep up with the other things I had going on. Well, the truth is, I didn't keep up with the regular things very well. Unfortunately, it took me longer than usual to get back to clients. I only posted once on the blog, and my to do list is now a very scary thing to look at. BUT! What a week it was. It was full of singing, and ukulele playing, and paper airplanes, and bike rides (in 90 degree heat, but nevermind that detail), and ice cream sundaes, and lots of rehearsal. It was full of hugs and intense conversations and big dreams. It was full of JOY. There might be nothing better.
So, yes, my to do list is crazy, and now I have lots of catching up to do, but I wouldn't have traded my week of inspiration and love in for anything. I'm so thankful to have family, friends, clients, fellow teachers, and kitties who support me along this crazy journey that I'm on -- I couldn't do it without every single one of you.
Once I've processed the week a little more, I'll be back with some thoughts. In the meantime, I hope you enjoyed that photo above of the pirate kitty. He's pretty nice.
