Yesterday was the best day. I'll have so much more to share about this soon, along with a more substantial sneak peek. But yesterday afternoon, Nick and I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding put together (in 6 days!) by the incredible folks at C-U at Home. We had the best time, met some true characters (I had the best time and haven't laughed this much in forever), and witnessed a lovely ceremony with a couple that radiates joy. Here's a news story about their day. It was really powerful, and I think we all realized we were a part of something much bigger than ourselves. One thing that stood out to me was when the pastor encouraged Corey and Michelle to hold hands throughout their ceremony. He said that our hands tell a lot of stories, whether we are mad (with fists) or welcoming (with outstretched hands). And yesterday, during their ceremony, was a chance for them to be loving, show commitment, and support, with their hands clasped together. What a beautiful sentiment.
As I said, I have much more to share from their wedding, as well as some other sneak peeks to put up. I've been shooting a lot lately, and it's feeling amazing. Life is so good! Happy Friday, y'all! Have wonderful weekends. :)
