Thankful Thursday: Lemon Face

This is a Thursday series in which I pause and acknowledge something big and important or something small and insignificant that has made me thankful. It is so important and incredibly refreshing to look at the positivity around us, when we are so often surrounded by negativity.  Over the last week, I have met incredible people. I've had a few interviews (are you supposed to have this much fun in interviews? I'm not complaining -- but GOSH, I like the people here), I had the chance to assist a local photographer at a wedding and met the coolest couple... We've even met a banker that we like. Is this real life? I have to keep pinching myself!

Anyways, life is treating us well, but I am also a little crazed trying to catch back up on my photography (turns out moving -- twice! -- is hard and busy and a little overwhelming sometimes and I have so much to do). So I'm going to keep this Thankful Thursday post brief. I had originally made a video of Donnie and me having an epic dance party while cooking dinner, but that's going to have to wait for another day on the blog. In the meantime, I will leave you with this video that filled my heart with enormous joy tonight.

Have wonderful days, all. What are you thankful for?

(Oh yeah! I'm going to be in Champaign from October 10-14. Contact me to book a session! I know it's crazy early, but this is the time to start thinking about holiday/seasonal cards. Eep!)
