Thankful Thursday: Sir Walter Meowthau

This is a Thursday series in which I pause and acknowledge something big and important or something small and insignificant that has made me thankful. It is so important and incredibly refreshing to look at the positivity around us, when we are so often surrounded by negativity.  As you might have seen on my business's Facebook page, we had ... an eventful week. Our poor kitty Walter's tail got caught in a closing door, and as a result, he had to have a partial tail amputation. :(

We, of course, felt like the worst cat parents ever to exist -- but it has been a relief to see that he is taking it in stride, and is recovering quite nicely (though he still hates his cone of shame). I am so thankful for his swift recovery.

And I am also thankful for my genius Father-in-Law, who assisted Walter in composing and posting this poem on my facebook wall. I have come back to read this many times throughout the stress of the week. Bill, you are the best!

This poem helped make our week a little brighter. What has pushed you through the week, and made you smile?
