Oh my goodness, where to start? Erin and Matt had an incredible, emotional, and joyful wedding day. The weather was pretty awesome, everyone looked totally beautiful, and the Hotel Monaco-Chicago was on top of their game to make sure the day was smooth and stress-free. Matt and Erin's families and friends are a whole lot of fun (shout out to Harry the expert family wrangler -- he somehow mostly kept his family in line, which is quite impressive! They are a really fun group!).
Here were my favorite parts of the day. I loved the little moments when Erin and Matt snuck off to have a still moment together right after their ceremony: when Erin cupped Matt's face in her hands when he was overcome with happy tears. I loved seeing Matt's mom give him giant bear hugs, and I loved seeing how Erin and her mom are so similar, and couldn't help but be silly during their posed family portraits. I loved when just the immediate family was around for Matt and Erin to sign the ketubah and the look of pride on the parents' faces. I loved that Erin and Matt did a first look, and yet you can still see overwhelming amounts of emotion on their faces as Erin walked down the aisle towards Matt. I loved that they had a rockin' dance party, and that I got a chance to shake my booty along with some really excellent wedding guests. I loved the entire day, but it was the moments of stillness and joy that really stood out to me.
And now, without further ado: a selection of the photos from Erin and Matt's joyous, loving wedding day. Congratulations again, you two! I'm so grateful that I got the chance to capture your incredible wedding day. xoxo!
