Here’s how we do it: in 6-month container so you can practice and expand with ease…

This is a place where you get to be YOU with no roles, obligations, expectations

Dream Photoshoot:
A co-created and styled full-length solo session. This could be a full boudoir session in the Empowerment Studio, or it could be a fantasy outdoor session in elaborate costume. Or a fabulous styled session on location. Really, this session can be anything we dream up together
You get ALL your digitals that will tell the story of your journey, and the session we created together
Monthly prompts and exploration. We will co-create and design this session throughout the course of the Empowerment Experience. The entire photoshoot experience (concept exploration, design, planning, photoshoot, image reveal, product delivery) will happen within the 6 months of this program

Your session will take place within the 6 months of our group program (so between April and September). Most of the sessions will take place in months 3-4, but I’m sure some exceptions will occur! That’s the beauty of this being such a custom experience — we get to figure it out together, and make sure it’s aligned for everyone involved!

No! We can do literally whatever we want to do!
To me, boudoir is a really expansive genre — here in the Empowerment Studio, it’s really all about taking time to make incredible photos of the exact person who is in front of me. And that can be with as many (or as few) clothes on as you want.
So if you want to do a fancy-pants session wearing a tux or ballgown, let’s do it! You want to run around as a faerie in a sunflower field at golden hour? Yes please. Branding photos of you at work, or doing your craft — let’s goooo! Cosplay vibes in front of a backdrop? Be still my heart.
My main goal is that I want to make you feel amazing, and create photos of you that you recognize yourself in, and that you’ll have forever. Book a session, hop on a call with me, and let’s dream up something awesome together!

TRAVEL HERE! If Taylor Swift can come to Kansas City, you can come to KC!
No but for real... I've had clients travel in the last year alone from Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Colorado! Oh and northern Illinois. And North Carolina! Did I miss anywhere?? People make an experience of it, stay in an Airbnb near the studio, indulge in local restaurants (I've got recs!). It's like, next level, self-care, empowerment experience!! 😍
Getting specific:
If you sign up for the Body Liberation Experience (which includes a 1:1 dream portrait session), you will probably want to plan to travel to Kansas City for that session - we can schedule it any time within the 6 months of the program (so, from April-September 2024). Alternately, you can pay travel fees to bring me to you, if you're dreaming of doing a session in your home! We've got options, and that's the beauty of a custom photoshoot experience -- we get to make this work for the actual humans involved (that's you and me!).
If you're joining us for the Community Tier, you might still want to join us in person in Kansas City at least once (for one of the in-person gatherings at the Empowerment Studio) but you absolutely don't have to! Many of our events, and a lot of our connection, will be taking place online. We are going to be doing a group empowerment party, where each member present will get to do a 1:1 photoshoot with me, but I've got some ideas up my sleeve about how to still deliver you an incredible photography experience, even if we're not in the same place. Let me know if this is you and we can chat details!!

Listen, I get it. This is a huge, vulnerable thing for you to be doing! (I am so proud of you.) And I don't take that lightly -- you are in the best possible hands. I've photographed hundreds of beautiful humans (well over 500 at my last count!). And I’ve done community in tons of different iterations. Every client I have photographed leaves my sessions feeling strong, empowered, and beautiful. I know how to make sure you’re comfortable and LOVE the whole experience, and feel confident along the way!

Hi, I’m your photographer and community guide!
Let me introduce myself! I’m Kinzie Elizabeth. I’m the founder of the Empowerment Studio, a boudoir photography studio in Kansas City, MO, where I guide my clients to see their bodies in revolutionary and deeply kind ways.
I cannot do this alone, though. It also takes an amazing team to help make this company run. We've got a small but mighty Empowerment Team (Libby! David! Donnie!) that I adore with my whole heart. They all have a hand in making your experience in the Empowerment Studio amazing.
Photography is powerful. It allows us to see beauty that we can’t always see with our own eyes. Seeing beautiful, real photos of yourself can change your life.

What’s the Empowerment Studio?
The Empowerment Studio’s mission is to change the world by building a culture of compliments and radical self love. We’re a boudoir studio at our core, but we go far beyond that as well: we’re also a community of awesome humans who want to make the world a more kind place for EVERYONE. We celebrate ALL bodies, and gently learn to love parts of ourselves in different ways and/or with more gusto!
