As you’ve (probably) seen by now, there is one version of the Empowerment Experience that includes a full photoshoot in addition to all the amazing community we have to offer:

Full Photoshoot Tier

Full Portrait Session + Community

This tier includes a co-created and styled full-length solo session in addition to a mega community experience.

If you want to sign up for the Full Photoshoot Tier, go check out the additional info and get signed up on the Empowerment Experience homepage.

But then, we realized that even without the epic full photoshoot, there are still several opportunities to hop in front of the camera. And we also realized that we could make the epic community vibes accessible to more people.

So we created the Community Tier, which still has LOTS of impact but with a lower price tag (and with sliding scale/reduced rates and extended payment plans available as well!)

We hope this means this version of the Empowerment Experience will be an option for more amazing humans who want community and beautiful photos of themselves!

Community Tier

Community + Group Photoshoot Parties — $3000*

This tier includes the incredible community experience as the Full Photoshoot Tier. A cozy, online space for us to connect. Weekly selfie prompts to get you existing in photos and seeing yourself in a new light. Monthly events. A group photoshoot party. Live group calls.

The difference is that this tier doesn’t include the individual portrait session. You’ll still be photographed! You just won’t be doing a full solo session.

 
 

Community Tier offerings:

  • A small-group community (mostly online) with regular prompts to encourage connection, self-discovery, and growth

  • Live group calls where everyone gets a chance to problem solve, strategize, build connection, and grow in the direction you want to go

  • Weekly guided selfie prompts - get more comfortable with ALL of you

  • Tons of Empowerment Tools -- selfie tips and tricks, creative ideas for working with your brain instead of against it, interviews, worksheets, and more. We'll begin with the materials we've already made for you and create more according to what YOU want and need

  • Monthly group events [both online and in person] to connect and build community (if you live far, let's chat, I've got ideas)

  • Group photoshoot experiences! Multiple opportunities to be in front of my camera -- photoshoots where you can take up space and see yourself

Sliding Scale for Community Tier

It’s super important to us, here at the Empowerment Studio, to offer ways people of all financial contexts can exist in photos and feel good about themselves. While we know a sliding scale still won’t make this program in budget for every single person, we do hope it helps.

Inspired by the Sliding Scale guidance of Alexis J. Cunningfolk, we offer reduced rate and sliding scale options for the Community Tier. Our standard rate for the full Community Tier is $3000, but we also have sliding scale options available at $1500 and $2000 to make the experience more accessible.

Additionally, if our standard 6-month payment plan feels overwhelming, or won’t work for your budget, we offer extended payment plans for up to 12 months, so you can spread out the cost in a way that works for you and makes it possible to join us.

Not only does this post do a great job of explaining the philosophy of a sliding scale model, but it also has an awesome graphic to help you self-sort into different tiers. Sometimes it can be confusing to know where you land on a sliding scale. Go check this site out for some guidance.
